Abstract

The environmentally friendly lightweight material is a concept for developing construction material technology. One way is to reduce density by using plastic waste such as Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) as the concrete aggregate. Although on the other hand, the mechanical value has decreased significantly. This research explains the development of lightweight concrete, EPS (BREA), which uses Modified EPS waste as coarse aggregate and pumice sand as fine material, obtained locally from Tidore Island. The mixture composition used in this study was 1 Cement: 2 Sand: 3 MEPS, where the compressive strength test was carried out to see its mechanical behaviour. The research shows that the composition above reduces the volume weight and compressive strength values by 56.12% and 78.46%, respectively, compared to normal concrete.

Descriptive statistics were used for data analysis. Findings: Youths positively perceived livestock entrepreneurship as a source of income and livelihood. To a great extent, their personal interest and passion was a major factor that influenced their choice of livestock agribusiness as career. The most serious constraints to livestock agribusiness career decision making among the youths was the inadequate finance and inaccessibility to fund. Research limitations/implications: The challenge of having limited access to data, time constraints and conflicts arising from some youth participants’ personal issues. Practical implications: This study will provide information to enable policy makers come up with policies that will address the food security needs of the country’s population. Originality/value: The information is required to close the gap in the literature and contributes to the body of understanding on youths’ agribusiness entrepreneurship activities. Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to create a reference model for the national Financial Literacy movement by finding a Financial Control model for Generation Z of Surabaya, which is 0.03% of the total in Indonesia. Therefore, the researchers made it the subject of research. Design/methodology/approach: In determining the minimum number of samples, the researcher used the Slovin formula. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. Findings: The study results show that the model relates to the Marketplace and financial literacy. Here, Marketplace has a significant impact and weak influence on Financial Control. At the same time, Financial Literacy has a substantial and robust effect on Financial Control. While Marketplace on Financial Control through Financial Literacy has a significant impact and a reasonably vital influence role. The findings are that 53% of research subjects think the literacy movement with animated video models through digital media is more attractive than others. Abstract

Purpose: This paper identify major objectives as yardsticks to juxtapose our arguments throughout the study, examining the implications of IR 4.0 for higher education and entrepreneurship education by reviewing Nigeria’s and Malaysia’s national development plans to determine their relevance to IR 4.0. Design/methodology/approach: In view of the complexities generated by the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0), which affects every sector including entrepreneurship and education, this study undertakes a systematic literature review to ascertain the facts and discuss concepts related to higher education and entrepreneurship, particularly the role of IR 4.0 in changing and modifying the direction of entrepreneurship. Findings: The study also highlights the approaches adopted and challenges encountered by universities in their implementation of entrepreneurship education, considering the job market disparities mentioned earlier. The paper conclude that it is imperative for both countries to instill the virtues of entrepreneurship education in their students, in order to prepare them for the challenges and needs of IR 4.0. Research limitations/implications: This problem is largely associated with the weak approach adopted by universities in equipping students with the necessary entrepreneurial skills for today’s highly competitive industrialized era, and not in any way related to the students themselves. Practical implications: Thousands of students graduate every year from Malaysia and Nigerian universities and other higher institutions across the globe. However, the availability of job vacancies in government and other sectors is insufficient to match the number of graduates produced annually. Abstract

Purpose: Banana ice cream is a fun food to eat and has both functions. The use of banana as main component of ice cream is expected to be a sustainable food, which is supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The business of banana ice cream can be run for social purposes that make a profit, which will circle back for the needs of cancer patients. Design/methodology/approach: Break even point analysis used to determine economic feasibility of the business plan. Break even point would be reached when the total unit of selling banana ice cream as much as 3.024 scoops with sales value was 15.120.000 Indonesian Rupiah. The minimum time for recovering the initial investment was 151 days or 5 months. Banana ice cream business is feasible to be run.
